    Bianca's Latest

Wednesday, February 7, 2007, 12:19 AM CST [General]

    hello all,

I have uploaded some new photos as well as some new videos... be sure to check those out.

Bianca is doing great.  She is now reaching out for things on a constant basis and just a warning dont eat in front of her... she likes to try and grab for it... example... eating a slice of pizza the other night... she reached out for it grabbed it in a second and had it to her mouth before i could even think to get it away... apparently I am going to have a quick one on my hands.

She is also rolling over.... from front to back and back to front... she is my little wiggle worm as well.  She talks up a storm pretty much all the time... if only I could understand what she says.  Althought I'm pretty sure most of the time she is telling me how silly I am.

She found her feet the other night.  Hasn't quite gotten them to her mouth yet but she found them and now most of the time you will find her with her feet in hand.

She has her next shots at the end of this month.  She does very well with them.  I hear a lot of babies are very cranky following but all she does is sleep a lot.

I am planning her christening... I do not want her christened into a specific religion... I feel as though that should be her choice when she is older... so my grandmother pastor will bless her and give her back to god.  I am planning it on the 24th and should know by the end of the week if this day is set.  I am getting very excited.  I have been wanting to have this done since she was born.  I hope that all her family and friends will be able to attend.

We are doing well and I hope the same is going for everyone else.  If we dont talk to you by then... Happy Valentine's Day.

    Wishing you all well,

     Jax and Baby Bianca

    A little bit cranky

Wednesday, November 15, 2006, 08:27 PM CST [General]

    Hey there,

Just a little update on the little one.  She is doing good.  Bianca has been a wee bit cranky these last couple of days and I can only come up with two conclusions.

    1.  She is just now starting to feel the effects from her shots last week... they said it could take up to a week.  So it is always a possibility.

    2.  She is teething.  It isn't uncommon... a little rare... but not uncommon for little ones to teeth this early.  She has been drooling a lot more than usual, as well a biting down on her fingers and her pacifier.  As well as running a tiny fever.  So as you can tell all the symptoms to teething just havent seen... or felt... any teeth yet.  I'll keep you posted if one should come up.

We went christmas shopping today... put everything on layaway.  Woo hoo got that out of the way and at less than half the cost we thought it would be... dont you just love it when you can by gifts for people in pairs when they are married.  It's a great thing lol.

And the big news... Congratulate the little one... she has learned to sleep through the night.  Everyone told me to give her some cereal in her bottle before I put her to sleep for so long now but I was told it is best to just wait it out and she would eventually sleep through the night by her nurse... so that is what I did and it worked.  I know it may seem like the more difficult thing to do but as I have been made aware if I were to give her cereal now her stomach would expand and she would need more and more.  Her appetite would increase and sooner rather than later I would end up giving her baby food.... more money to be put towards food than we have right now.  So I waited it out and got the reward.  The last few nights of wonder 7 hour sleep sessions.  WOOOOO HOOOO!!!!

Bianca has also grown so much.  We as we had a bunch of clothing for 0-3months and 3-6months that didnt fit her... or as I like to say ate her alive.  She can now fit into some of the cutest clothing.  I promise once I get a camera again I will take pictures of her in her adorable outfits... including the ones that Grandma Barbara bought for her (hehe).

Anyways,  it is getting about that time again... and my cute little munchkin should be awaking soon to eat.  So I will close.  Hope everyone is doing well.

    The Dreaded Shots!!!!

Wednesday, November 8, 2006, 07:51 PM CST [General]

    Hello,

Hope everyone is doing well.  Bianca and I are great.  For the most part... there are some sleepless nights and some gassy tummies but overall we are doing good.  She talks a lot more and I posted some videos where she is talking a little.  Okay so I talk the most (and I sound really silly 99% of the time) but she is adorable.

Tomorrow is the dreaded shots... her first shots and from what I hear I am not going to like it one bit.  I am suppose to hold her down and let some doctor come at my baby girl with a needle in hand and make her cry... hey now I don't want to throw any doctor down but make my baby too upset and I may be in some trouble.  LOL.  I am just going to remember that it is for the best.

We really haven't been up to much more.  I had a photo shoot on monday which will hopefully bring in some clients for me... but first I have to do one of two things... buy a new camera or find mine.  While meeting with Mike this morning... somehow I lost my camera.  Please don't ask me how I'm not quite sure.  I'm hoping that I just left it at the office.  But if I don't find it maybe I can just ask for an early birthday present from the pops lol... or not.

Bianca has found her hands.  She is very intrigued by them.   She now knows how to grab for her raddle and stick her whole hand in her mouth (I'm so proud).  B is getting the hang of sleeping longer.  She stays up longer during the day and lately has been sleeping from 12 at night until 5 or 6 in the morning... except for those occasional nights when she thinks it is time to play when it is time to sleep... go figure right.  She is starting to get there... maybe by 5 months she will be sleeping completely through the night and letting me get 7 or 8 hours at one time.

I need to head out... she also has this eating every 4 hours thing down too... and guess what that is in about 10 minutes... and she is starting to stir... better make a bottle fast.  Write more soon.

    Halloween

Wednesday, November 1, 2006, 07:27 PM CST [General]

Bianca and I had a great halloween.  We went to the mall with Alyssa and Jessica (also known as Aunty Jess and Ally) and did some trick or treating.  She got some stickers and bookmarks to add to her babybook as a memory of her first halloween... yes mommy stole all the candy she got (please no evil snares... lol she cant eat it yet haha).  She slept through most of it but we enjoyed seeing all the little kids dressed to impress.

Following the mall we went to Ally's daycare's "Trunk and Treat" at St. Andrew's Baptist Church.  We went from the trunk of one car to the next learning about different countries.  We went to Africa, China, Italy, Spain, Mexico, as well as many more... and the great and wonderful U.S.A.  She got cards that told her about each country (we will add those to her book as well).

She got a picture with a clown and we tried to get some whiskers painted on her cheeks but she wasn't up for that.  My little sqirmer.  LOL.  Overall we had a wonderful evening.  She enjoyed the lights (when she was awake) and looked absolutely adorable... she was a little teddy bear.

I hope that everyone enjoyed their halloween and those that have children went out and experienced the joys of trick or treating and dressing up.

    Hugs and Love

    God Bless

    Jax
